The 90-kilometre federal road linking Adamawa and Borno states has three bridges destroyed by Boko Haram insurgents.
Inspecting the road project along with officials of the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, Binta explained that the work fell short of the standards of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration and has deprived the people of her constituency the benefit of Buhari’s good governance.
She said the governor,  the two members of the House of Representatives, five members of the state Assembly from the area and members of the community have expressed displea-sure at the quality of work and want the contract revoked and handed over to a competent contractor.
